PT Parna Raya, established on June 7, 1972, began its operations with just one truck, transporting goods from ships at Tanjung Priok Port, Jakarta, Indonesia, which became the foundation of the Parna Raya Group. The Group is an Indonesian conglomerate that has steadily grown into a significant local business group operating in the fields of land and sea transportation, petrochemicals, natural gas pipelines, trade, hotel networks, and oil palm plantations.
Following the leadership of Mr. Marihad Simbolon, Parna Raya was led by Mrs. Artha Meris Simbolon from 2008 to 2013, and since then, Parna Raya has been led by Mr. Charles A. Simbolon.
The group is based in Jakarta, Indonesia, with representatives on the islands of Sumatra, Java, Kalimantan, as well as in Singapore, Malaysia, and Australia.
