PT Parna Raya - Gas Division PT Parna Raya established its energy business in early 2000 by building two major gas transportation pipelines in two industrial locations, in Bontang, East Kalimantan and Cibitung, West Java. With the rise in crude oil prices and along with limited production and reserves, PT Parna Raya entered a promising alternative energy business, the natural gas industry. From his experience as a gas carrier in Bontang and Cibitung, PT Parna Raya has proven its competence by signing off-take gas from Husky Oil (Madura BD) Ltd.

The Gas Sales Contract was signed in October 2007 and is expected to commence commercial production in late 2012. PT Parna Raya will move 40 MMSCFD of natural gas to PT Indonesia Power through a sub-sea pipeline system, which covers a length of 30 km by design, which is planned to soon to be built, PT Parna Raya will also develop other energy sources (LPG, Power) and alternative renewable resources at Bio Energy, such as Indonesian Steam Coal.
