In August 2007, PT Parna Raya expanded into the tourism industry by acquiring shares of Tokyu Corporation, Sojitz Corporation and PT Consulting Pembangunan Semesta in PT Sarinitokyu Hotel International (PT.SHI), owner of the Sari Pacific Jakarta Autograph Collection Hotel, Jl.MH. Thamrin 6, Jakarta. With this acquisition, PT Parna Raya now owns 50% of the shares in PT Sariarthamas Hotel International (formerly PT Sarinitokyu Hotel International), while the other 50% shares are owned by PT Sarinah (Persero). Following the Acquisition, PT Parna Raya will further invest in renovating this 35 year old property and turning it into one of the best quality hotels in Indonesia.
