PT PELAYARAN PARNARAYA NUSANTARA
Established on 28th May 1990 in Jakarta-Indonesia as one of the companies in PT Parna Raya, PT Pelayaran Parnaraya Nusantara started with three General Cargo Vessels named Parnaraya-8, Parnaraya-18 anda Parnaraya-28. Seven years later another vessel was added Parnaraya-38. These vessels were converted from General Cargo Vessel to Bulk Cement Carriers, with the last one converted being Parnaraya-38 in 1997.
The Total Carrying capacity of Parnaraya-18, Parnaraya-28 and Parnaraya-38 is 22.600 tonnes of bulk cement. These vessels are dedicated to service the local cement distribution throughput all indonesian ports, supporting the following State-Owned companies:
- PT Semen Padang, a cement plant located in Padang-West Sumatera; and
- PT Semen Tonasa, a cement plant located in Biringkasi, Makasar - South Sulawesi.
